The next Corinthian race is actually two special races on Sunday, August 12: the LGCYC Single-Handed Race and the LGCYC Women’s Race. Charlie Pound on Ivory Blue is Race Committee. Depending on the number of boats present at the start for each race, the Race Committee will decide whether or not both races start at the same time. Participants in both races should plan on a 1 pm start in front of Yankee Marina. All sailors in the Single-Handed Race are required to wear a PFD and trail a line behind the boat for the duration of the race for safety. (And all sailors in the Women’s Race are required to be women.)
