1996 Around the Islands Regatta

The course: start
line off the west side of Dome Island, just south of the Sagamore;
Crown Island to starboard, Huckleberry Island to starboard,
Dome Island to starboard, and finish just north of Dome. Light
winds and some dead spots near the islands made this year's
regatta a real challenge. After the race, five of the seven
yachts rafted up in Log Bay for food, drink and a swim. Thanks
to Denis Boyce for manning the Committee Boat, and thanks
to Bob & Sheila Brodie of Yankee Boating Center for the
loan of the boat.
